Somalia: Ahmed Madobe Asks Ethiopian Govt for Support

Addis Ababa- 18 JUNE 2013 — the spokesman of Raskamboni militia Abdinasir Serar who held a press conference yesterday elaborated on Ahmed Mohamed Islam’s visit to Ethiopia and the reason behind the visit.

Mr. Serar said that the leader paid a visit to Addis Abab to seek support from the Ethiopian government and inform the Ethiopian prime minister of the recent development made by elders of Juba land who named a new federal administration for the region.

Mr Serar added that Mr. Madobe explained how his administration will work and be part of the federal state.

Mr. Serar finally said that his administration will not take part in the proposed meeting in Mogadishu which is being organized by the federal government of Somalia.

Mr. Serar contradicted Ahmed Madobe who recently announced that his administration will participate in the proposed meeting which will be held in the capital Mogadishu.

Ahmed Mohamed Islam who claims to be the president of Somalia’s Juba land state has been campaigning vigorously to the Neighboring countries to seek recognition.
